Dock Restoration in Mount Pleasant, SC 29466
We pressure washed and stained this 500 foot dock. We started by applying GreenOx Renew which is an earth-friendly wood cleaner that restores and revitalizes weathered surfaces. After letting the GreenOx Renew dwell for 10 to 15 minuets we soft washed the remaining mildew and algae off occasionally using high pressure with a turbo nozzle where needed.
After completely washing the dock we let it dry for 48 hours and then began the staining process. We used Sherwin-Williams Supper Deck semi transparent with a tint of cedar. We started the staining process by hand brushing the had rails and post at the end of the dock making our way down the walk way back towards the house.
After completing all hand rails we were able to use a pump sprayer to apply stain to the deck boards spreading it out evenly with a roller. This has been my favorite job so far.
